Advancing influenza science. Supporting research. Developing vaccines.
We combine expertise in influenza virology, reverse genetics and vaccine development to support research and advance vaccine programs for human and animal health.
We provide specialized research tools and custom virology services for academic and industry teams, including reporter influenza viruses. Alongside these services, we develop our own vaccine programs and seek partnerships to support their further development.
Our vaccine programs
UniFluVec
UniFluVec is our investigational human influenza vaccine candidate. Supported by preclinical research and early clinical evaluation, the program provides a foundation for further development and collaboration with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
VetFluVec
Our veterinary vaccine programs explore applications of Capricorn’s vaccine technology in animal health. These include candidates targeting livestock diseases and influenza in horses and camels, with research focused on cellular immunity and the potential for broader protection.
Influenza Research Tools & Services
We support academic research, pharmaceutical development, and preclinical studies with specialized influenza research tools and tailored virology services.
Our portfolio includes influenza A reporter viruses expressing green fluorescent protein (GFP) or luciferase, with ready-to-use and custom development options. We work with research teams to define solutions suited to their scientific questions and project requirements.
Science & Intellectual Property
Explore the scientific evidence and intellectual property supporting our vaccine programs and technologies.
Our Science & IP page brings together development milestones, supporting publications, and patent information, including research on UniFluVec and the AEX-1 cell platform for influenza virus production.
